This webbie will tell euu more about Singapore, " The Garden City ". It was found by an Indonesian prince named Sang Nila Utama. He then named this island Singapura because when he first stepped onto the island, he saw a fierce animal similar to a lion. "Singa" means lion and "Pura" means city. So, together, it's Lion City. Our symbol is a merlion. The merlion ish located at the Clifford Pier located by the sea. Anyways, just have fun while euu are in singapore or reading this webbie on Singapore. ENJOY ! =)
